Fireplace and Stove Glass
Fireplace and Stove Glass
It is a ceramic glass product manufactured by one of the glass industry giants, Nippon Electric Glass (Japan), under the brand name NEOCERAM. It has a thermal shock resistance of 800°C and can be continuously used at 750°C, making it ideal for fireplaces and stoves.
It can remain in constant contact with the flame, regardless of whether wood, coal, ethanol, or pellets are used. Due to its near-zero expansion coefficient, Neoceram never breaks due to heat. Even if plunged into cold water while hot, it does not crack.
It is safe and has high mechanical strength. Even if it breaks due to a severe impact or compression, it does not shatter like tempered glass; it cracks without scattering.
Neoceram has excellent thermal conductivity because it transmits almost 100% of infrared wavelengths. This allows effective heating of the room while protecting against smoke, soot, and odor.
With its transparent honey-amber color, it gives the flame a very elegant appearance. Compared to other similar ceramic glass types, NEOCERAM has a smoother and shinier surface, which allows it to accumulate less soot and makes it easier to clean.
It is 4 mm thick.
